These Terms govern your use of timely.golf. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them. Please read them — they explain how the service works, what you can and can’t do, and where our responsibilities end.
1. Your account
You need an account to use most features. You can sign up with email and password or via Google.
You must be at least 16 years old. You agree to keep your login credentials safe and to tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. One person per account; accounts are not transferable.
2. Plans and payment
You can subscribe to our paid plan, Pro, to unlock higher limits on video analyses, bookings, invoices and Shot Tracer videos. Current plans and pricing are shown on our pricing page.
Your first Pro subscription starts with a 10-day free trial (one trial per person — not again after cancelling or resubscribing). Nothing is charged during the trial, and you can cancel before it ends at no cost. If you don’t, the paid subscription starts automatically when the trial ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly) and are charged by our payment processor. You can cancel any time from your account settings — your plan stays active until the end of the current period. We don’t refund partial periods unless required by law.
The price shown is the total you pay: it includes VAT where applicable, and no tax is added on top at checkout. You are responsible for any other taxes that may apply where you operate.
3. Bookings between coaches and players
timely.golf gives coaches and players the tools to schedule sessions, share videos, and exchange notes. The coaching itself happens between coach and player.
Payment for coaching sessions is arranged directly between coach and player — timely.golf is not a party to those arrangements. Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund rules are set by each coach.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload or create on timely.golf — videos, audio, photos, notes, profile info.
You give us a limited licence to store, display, and process your content so we can run the service: deliver it to the people you’re working with (your coach or player), analyse swings, and — for content you publish on your public profile — show it publicly.
You confirm you have the rights to whatever you upload, including any recordings of other people. Don’t upload anything that isn’t yours to share.
5. AI-assisted analysis
When you ask for a swing analysis, parts of your video and movement data are sent to Google to generate coaching feedback. The output can be wrong or incomplete — it’s a starting point for a conversation with your coach, not a verdict.
AI feedback is not medical advice. For anything related to health, injury, or physical condition, please consult a qualified professional.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use timely.golf lawfully and not to:
- upload content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit
- infringe anyone else’s rights, including privacy, copyright, or trademark
- scrape, copy, or automate the platform in ways we haven’t allowed
- break, bypass, or test our security without permission
- send spam or unsolicited messages through the platform
7. Coach responsibilities
If you are a coach using the platform to handle player data, you remain responsible for treating that data lawfully — including being upfront with your players about how you record and use their videos, getting consent where needed, and meeting your own legal obligations as a business (tax, invoicing, professional regulations).
8. Your responsibility for what you upload
You agree to cover us for any third-party claims, losses, or costs that arise from content you uploaded or shared (for example, a recording of someone who didn’t consent to being filmed) or from your use of the platform in a way that breaks these Terms or the law. We will let you know about any such claim and give you the chance to handle it; we keep the right to defend ourselves and to ask for your reasonable cooperation.
9. Service availability
We work to keep timely.golf reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. Features can change, be added, or be retired over time.
10. Events beyond our control
We’re not responsible for delays or failures caused by events that are reasonably outside our control — for example, natural disasters, network outages affecting major providers, government actions, or other significant disruptions.
11. Disclaimers and liability
timely.golf is provided "as is". We can’t guarantee outcomes from coaching or from AI analysis, and we’re not responsible for what happens between coaches and players outside the platform.
To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damages of a service like this. We remain fully liable for intent, gross negligence, injury to life or health, and anything else we can’t limit by law.
12. Cancelling and termination
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing us (a self-service option is in development). We can suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or the law.
After your account is closed we delete or anonymise your data, except where we have to keep it (for example, invoices and tax records).
13. Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when we change the service or for legal reasons. If the changes are material, we’ll let you know by email. Continuing to use timely.golf after that means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence still apply where they would otherwise be overridden.
16. Other terms
These Terms together with our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and timely.golf about the service, and they replace any earlier agreement on the same subject.
If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t immediately enforce something, that’s not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
You can’t transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to someone else without our written consent. We can transfer them — for example, to a successor as part of a corporate transaction.
When we need to send you legal notices about your account, we do so by email to the address on file. Please keep it current.
Some provisions of these Terms by their nature continue to apply after your account is closed — including the licences you’ve granted us for content you publicly published, your indemnification obligation, the liability limits, and the governing-law clause.
