How Timely works

One loop, two sides of the lesson.

Timely is the operating system for a golf lesson: the coach's week, the player's booking, what was taught, what the swing looked like, and what to work on next — all in one record instead of five apps and a chat thread.

How our scoring works
The loop

From an empty week to a player who knows what to practise.

01

The coach defines a week

Teaching hours per weekday, session lengths, buffers, and how much notice a booking needs.

02

A player books a real slot

The public page only offers times those rules allow. Booking confirms instantly — no request, no payment step.

03

The lesson happens

It is on both calendars, and the coach's own calendar app if they subscribed to the feed.

04

The record writes itself

Session notes attach to the booking; swing analysis attaches to the player. Nothing is filed by hand.

05

Progress becomes visible

Every analyzed swing joins one timeline, so the next lesson starts from evidence rather than memory.

Who does what

The same lesson, from both ends.

If you coach

  • You set your availability once and stop negotiating times over chat.
  • You teach; the paperwork follows the lesson instead of waiting for your evening.
  • You review anything the AI drafts before a player ever sees it.
  • Completed lessons become invoice line items when you are ready to bill.
For coaches

If you play

  • You see a coach's real availability and book it in a few taps.
  • Every lesson keeps its notes, images and voice notes where you can find them.
  • You can film a swing between lessons and send it to your coach.
  • Your scores and goals build a timeline you never have to maintain.
For players
Plainly

What Timely is not.

Easier to trust a tool that tells you where it stops. None of these exist today, so none of them are implied anywhere else on this site.

  • Not a payment processorBooking never takes a card. How a player pays their coach stays between them.
  • Not a messaging appThere is no chat. Coaches and players reach each other by email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Not a launch monitorSwing Lab reads body pose, which cannot see the club or the ball, so it never claims ball flight or club data.
  • Not a coach replacementThe AI drafts; a coach reviews, edits and decides when it is released.

Bring every lesson, swing and note into one place.

Timely brings booking, swing analysis, lesson notes and progress together — so coaches spend their time coaching, and players always know what to work on next.
