How scoring works
Where the bands come from, and when Swing Lab declines to score.
Each position is measured and compared to ranges built from verified tour references, then banded. The bands are fixed and published — they are not tuned to make a swing look better than it is.
When a score is held back
- Low-confidence tracking caps the result rather than reporting a confident number from unreliable data.
- A metric your camera angle cannot support is shown as not measurable, not estimated.
- A clip that could not be read properly is flagged before it is scored at all.
Swing Lab measures body positions from video. It does not measure ball flight, carry distance or club data, and it will not report them.
