Trace a shot

Shot Tracer draws the path of the ball onto your video. It works from the clip alone, and the tracing runs on your device. It is its own product, separate from Swing Lab.

   Start a new shot: record one with your phone, or upload a video you already have.

   Shot Tracer finds the strike and follows the ball for as long as the camera can see it. Where the ball is lost, the rest of the line is predicted.

   Check the line. If the strike or the start of the flight is in the wrong place, adjust it before you save.

   Pick a colour for the line — red unless you change it.

   Save the shot to your library, or export a video with the tracer drawn in. Exported videos include a small Timely mark.
