Session length, buffers and notice

The four rules that decide which of your open hours a player is actually offered.

Availability settings

Your teaching week says when you are open. These rules say how that time can be taken — and the public schedule enforces them rather than asking players to be considerate.

  • Default session duration — how long a lesson runs unless it is set otherwise.
  • Buffer between sessions — time blocked after each lesson for setup, travel or writing the note. Players never see it as bookable.
  • Minimum advance booking — how far ahead a player must book, so nobody takes a slot starting in ten minutes.
  • Minimum advance cancellation — how late a player can still cancel themselves.

Together these mean the times on your public page are times you can genuinely teach, and a booking never needs a follow-up message to sort out.
